Bug Report 1942 Campaign Scenario

Another bug report worth looking at.
In the 1942 campaign scenario the Soviet aircraft factories are correct, but there seems to be real problems with the tank factories.
Specifically, in July 1942 the Soviets are still producing T34 M40 tanks and KVIE's. No trace of the T34 M43 tanks, listed as available March 1942, or of the KV1S listed as available in May 1942.
Nor can I update to them as their factories are not listed as available.
T 70 factories should update to SU 76? factories in July 1942. No trace of any SU 76 factories, or any SU 122 factories as of July 19th 1942.
So in short not sure if armour updating will work in 1942 scenario for Soviets although I will check it for another month or so.
Annoying flaw - presumably happened with change of name of armour types etc - as otherwise scenario is very interesting to play from Soviet side.
Aircraft updating of factories as I said seems to have worked perfectly.

Have played both human until July 1943. The Soviets to update their tanks factories so no huge problem.
Am just not sure when. Possibly in January.
Dates do not correspond to report list though.
Will continue checking.

Have now checked out Soviet armour conversion dates.
Soviet T34 to T34 M43 October 1942.
KVIE to KV1S November 42
Conversion to SU 76 + 122 starts January 43
SU 76 + SU 122 Factories appear February 43
KV2's never converted to KV1S.
Connverted to SU 152 July 1943.
Soviet SU 85s plus appear September 1943
Very different to the report chart.

Is identical to original SSI version so appears never to have been changed.
Armour types Axis/Soviet will balance though so no big problem.

I have't time to check historical appearance dates but after quick glance with editwir I 've found availability dates for T70(7/july/42) and T34M43(6/Sept/42). Can this help?

Hi Matthew,

There has been a bug in the dates for the report. It should be fixed with the next release, but for now, do as Mist did and use editwir to check the effective dates.
