Were do you get those cool banners and what is the signifigance of having one.

Ha! ... half the art used in these sigs is probably used without permission in violation of copywrite... typically the artist, even if the art is posted on the net, will want around $200 to sell you a license to use it as a sig.

I e-mail the owner of the site and ask...if he says no, I don't use it. I let them know what I wanna use it for and, as long as I'm not using it for profit, they usually say ok.

Or you can do do like "Marky" and just use "MS Paint" to write your name with your mouse.

That works too.
