Manual ?

Gary Grigsby's World At War gives you the chance to really run a world war. History is yours to write and things may turn out differently. The Western Allies may be conquered by Germany, or Japan may defeat China. With you at the controls, leading the fates of nations and alliances. Take command in this dynamic turn-based game and test strategies that long-past generals and world leaders could only dream of. Now anything is possible in this new strategic offering from Matrix Games and 2 by 3 Games.

Manual ?

Post by Arkady »

Hi,

I hope for DigitalDownload tomorrow, but what's about PDF manual ?
I know that without real interface there can be some confusion and a lot of questions here, but we can spend time before actual release. [:D]

It should be just link here in forum, for devoted fans only. [:'(]

bye

That is the game - but note that it says "availability 1-2 weeks" as it has not shipped to stores yet.

It is for sale on a "pre-order basis" to ship when they get it, but nobody but reviewers and testers actually have it yet.

You know, reviewers and testers use ebay too. They test, or review, then sell. So those ebay listings could very well be availabe now. I'm still getting mine through DD, I just hope that doesnt mean I'll be one of the last ones getting the game, and not the one of the first, which is why a lot of us use DD to begin with [:(]

I looked at the availability page at amazon

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/br ... 42-3523019

and copied this from it

"Usually ships in 1-2 weeks: we expect to receive the item from a distributor and ship it to you within 1 to 2 weeks of your order."

So dont be surprised if you DONT have it by friday.

You can also order it from ebgames, gamestop, etc, which have a prerelease date of 3-16, get overnight shipping, and have it on the 17th. So you can actaully have it by thursday if all goes well. Hopefully since retailers will have it on the 16th, the download will be available on the 16th.

My point is.. I went directly to the game's main website searched at the shop for the game.. ended up on these forums and still wasn't able to find that information.

All these other places are able to give information that isn't provided at the main source.

That I think is messed up.

Good luck with your direct download thing.

As there will be no retail version in shops here in Czech Republic, I'll use DigitalDownload (I bought WitP this way) and hope for this week release ... my credit card is waiting [8D]

An interesting thing, please keep us informed of what you get, and when you get it. The game doesn't ship to retailers until the 28th...

well obviously what we are looking here is that whole sellers must get it tommorrow.. And I am dealing with a whole seller that skips the middle man.

Unless of course there is some mass conspiracy to disturbute the game earilier..

A conspiracy thats is spread across many different companies

No need to apologize to me.. It's obviously that you didn't read this thread in it's entirety or you are unable to comphrehend the situation at hand..

As it clearly states that several reliable companies are offering this game within the next two days..

So your attempted mockery agaisnt me with this lame "bridge" scenario thing fails miserably in its desperate attempt at humour.

Until you can confort me with something more clever or serious.. I suggest that you don't bite off more then you can chew..

umm, hiroller, We (Matrix Games) are the Publisher of the game. NO ONE has the game because it has not shipped from us to ANY distributors.

They may be reliable distributors but they do not have GGWAW in stock and will not until the week of 3/28/05

Well, I'm sorry...but subject aside, I think that was extremely funny.

Look, m8...you aint getting a legal copy of this game until the end of March. If you do get one, and your kid can't play online, you'll have t explain to him that it was your reliable EBay guy that let him down...and not you!

All these companies aren't disturbuting illegal copies..

Do yourself a favour and READ this thread.

This is NOT some guy selling illegal copies on ebay. This is in FACT several companies offering the same product on the EXACT same day.

Way ahead of scheduled reseller release.. which indicates obviously that these companies are indeed whole sellers that skip the middle man.

Is there anything else that you would like to ignorantly add??
