Sorry I'm behind in updating the AAR's but I've had some problems with my laptop I'm trying to fix. Finally just bit the bullet and am rebuilding the HD from scratch. I should be back in battery by Saturday. Trying to get on the other PC's in the house is like pulling teeth...[:@].

Anyway, I've had all sorts of driver and apparently video memry related problems that affect the game, but are not caused by the game. It could be an issue between my particular set of drivers and vid card in teh laptop that (since I don't generally play games with high system requirements on it) Inever were brought to light.

Its a good example of a case where "I bought a new game and it broke my machine" is really a case of "the new game stressed my system enough for me to finally realize how big a problem already existed on it".

So I will take the ole Toshiba 5105-S607 down to parade rest and relaod 'er and get rid of the boat load of crap a year of beta testing on it has clogged it with and see if that resolves the problem, or if there my be an issue with GeForce4 Go 440 mobile video people need to know about who intend to play the game on it.
