Missing map file

Post by iaidoka2 »

I just tried to play Arnem: Landing at Loenen and discovered the Loenen.aam file is missing. It is possible I might have accidently deleted it when adding other scenarios. Is there any easy way to access the file on the CD without uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

Can anyone at Matrix email the file????? [&o]

Also, I came across a grammatical error in the first sentence under the Information Tab for the 7th KOSB Bn HQ when playing Arnem: Airlanding Assault (great scenario BTW). The word 'that' should be inserted b/n 'unit' and 'was'.

Dave

Thanks for the quick response and the file.

I assume you meant use MapMaker to create a new cache file. I tried this but MapMaker said the file was created on a newer version of MM and might cause MM to crash if I continued. That is indeed what happened. I also tried just extracting the map file to the Maps directory and the game said the map file requires a newer version of AA to play.

Help!

BTW - I cannot PM you, is that because of your settings or something my end?

Cheers

Matthew
