Large bomber raid headed in, once the Gruppen reaches the raid, it is one of the lowest B17 raids I have seen, from 13-16 K, the Gruppen has a field day attacking, out of the sun, from underneath, from in front

Scramble, another Bomber raid is headed in

ohoh, looks like they learned there lesson, this raid is between 23-25 K, and is very tuff to attack

the raid takes a pounding, as does the Gruppen, 18 planes are shot down, the Gruppen loses 4 pilots

Mar 4th

today it is our turn, we are sending out a raid of our own, protect the bombers

2 P47s sneak in and try to attack the bombers as they form up, 2 P47s go down, before they can do much damage, only 1 He111 is damaged

once they are dealt with, the Gruppen regroups and heads off on a fighter sweep, to clear the skies before the bombers reach the target

soon calls are heard, fighters, pick and chose, keep the speed up and hit and run

end of the day, the Gruppen gets 14 kills, but loses 2 more pilots

losses so far are not real heavy, but the pilots lost are, Aces with 14/20/21 and 36 kills are lost

the Z is a monster, if you are able to use it right, it climbs very well, and while it is fast, it is not very fast, on the deck, it can reach around 375 mph, which will let it stay ahead of 51s, but it will not pull away or allow you to do anything fancy

if you are a sniper, this is a great plane, comes with 4 Mk 108 30mm cannons, 2 in the nose and 2 under the wings, giving a good spread (and of course, if 2 or more rounds hit, the target is history, and if 1 round hits while the rest miss, it still has a good chance to do major damage)

great plane if it can attack bombers, if it can get above before the attack begins it can make high speed diving attacks and pull right back up to alt and pick the next target, very poor plane if it loses speed and is near the stream, large target !!!

for fighters, well, good plane on the attack, wish it still had some MGs, I do like to check range/setup, before firing the big guns

if it attacks, it is murder, but is close to helpless if it is under attack, best bet is to run, LOL get to the deck and run

not too sure about the added gun paks, I do not believe they would of even tried what you are given, no reason to mount a Mk 103 30mm in the middle wing (aim/range/flightpath)
