What are peoples strategies?

I'm just curious to what people will plan for this game. And what exactly will be possible to do.

Like for example. After years of fighting will american players have an option/want to invade mainland japan. Or will Japanese players want to go for DEI PI etc. Obviously the goal of the game is to sink the other guys navy before he sinks yours, but im talking about land conquests.

IMO strategies will differ much from WITP games. So what do other players have in mind for WPO?
