Help Paul beat the AI phase IV

Post by Paul Vebber »

It is now Winter of 43 (the first season of 43) and we have kept the Wehrmacht at bay, but attrition has gone badly for us. Attempting to engage wherever possible in an effort to bleed the Germans has only marginally succeeded - well it has bled us a LOT.

We managed to exploit weaknesses in the German lines to strike deep into the German rear and wreck havoc one tank army succeeding in taken eastern Poland and thanks to their evasion 10 lived to tell about it.

Now we are severely supply constrained with lour western Allies leaving us high and dry LL wise. The turn by turn situation is depicted below. We split the difference between researching tanks first and then inf by finshing the stats that got us teh biggest bang for teh buck first, then the others.

Losses clobbered our production with infantry replacements stacking up like cord wood - we still have a significant backlog, but I tried to balance replacing them with "new acquisitions". WHile building suplies and research. Our factory capacity will go up, but are resource constrained. IT was depressing to see hw have only actually produced 4 new tanks - which has been damaged and rebuilt several times.
