Does this BIOS update work for all COMPAQ computers? I'm interested in a Presario desktopfix (i forge the model-- came out in 1999 with Win 98 SE) Where do I get this BIOS update? Is it just a download?

Go to www.compaq.com.

Find your type. (i.e. Armada 1593DMT)

Find the model.

Find your OS.

You will find what you need (usually ) in the System ROMPAQ.
