Question for Oleg from fellow Croat

Where will be the best place to order GGWAW? You know situation for Croatia – lots of web game store does not shipping in our country or does not accept our credit cards.[:(]

I am another interested Croat, although my experience with those few computer games I bought in online shops were positive. My credit card was never turned down. I do find it annoying that Amazon won't ship games outside US, but they have no problem charging my Croatian credit card if the shipment is to US address.

Well, I'm not from Croatia but Czech Republic, I never have any problem with accepting my credit card (VISA) ... only problem is always price of delivery, it is sometimes equal to price of the game, book etc. Most funny is that delivery from Germany is more expensive then from U.S. [:D]

I'm happy with Matrix's Digital Download, it is quickest and cheapest way to get fine games , so if you don't need hard copy manual then buy GGWAW and download it direct from MG. I'll do it...on Monday I hope [:)]

Order directly from Matrix web store, I did that (for games other than WAW) and it works. Actually I had better experiences with physical product (HTTR) than with digital download (WITP), as digital downloads seem to be handled by Digital River, company unrelated to Matrix (slow to respond and IMO not very professional).

I also used to order from US based Chips and Bits (they did "regular post", which is slower but also cheaper, some online shops insist on using UPS or Fedex, which is faster but shipping alone would cost you as much as the game itself).

At various times I used also the following European based stores, specialised in strategy titles which will most certainly distribute WAW too, and they all use various shipping methods including "regular post":

http://www.duchet.com/ - Brit based, very friendly, though their web interafce is in Java (not good but works)

www.strategic-plus.co.uk - also Brit based, quick and professional, used to have lots of Matrix titles, friendly prices.

I once oredered from French based http://www.store4war.com/ but their english is very shaky and I had to cancel my order for some reason (can't remember why - product went out of stock or they didn't understand what is it that I need [;)] or something).

Alternatively you can go to Algoritam Shop in Zagreb and ask them to order some quantity of WAW - after I write good review for my mag I am sure they will sell some [:D][:D][:D]
