As I have limmited exp playing the Soviet side, I would like to know what players regard as the most important factories that should be transported to sibera? And why

When I play as Russian, in the standard game of WIR

I take 1 Heavy Ind, 2 Tank, 1 Art, 2 Plane and 1 Recon factory east. That leaves 2 slots available to Heavy Ind of Leningrad & Moscow if they are about to fall.

Tanks and planes are the most important weapons in the war, but the total points of Heavy Industry determines what percentage is produced by the factories output each turn.

I don't know what the Possum Mod has factory wise.
I didn't know it then, but looking back, in hindsight, I realize that when I was younger I could see into the future. Now I'm getting all my premonitions as flashbacks!

How much heavy ind do i need to rail out?
I think Russia has 3 heavy ind in possum + 2 with Moscow and Lenningrad. This only leaves 4 other factories to rail out if all heavy ind is moved to sibera

In the standard game v3.3 you can take 9 factories. I'm sure that I've read somewhere, that there is a time limit before the game stops you from transferring factories. I think it's 16 weeks, I could be very much mistaken.

The reason why I take 3 HI, is so that if any other cities that has HI gets over run, there's a good chance that the total HI point remains around 100+ overtime, ensuring that other factories output remains at full output.

I'm not sure what other factories will come online during the course of the war for the Soviets as my games never last that long against the AI.

One question that I have about factories is if someone can answer. Normally a factory is hardcoded to come online in a particular city on a certain turn. If that city is in the enemy's hands at the time when the new factory is meant to come online, what happens? Does the factory can located elsewhere or never built? I await someone's reply.

Heavy industry affects the rate of growth, oil effects the % of readiness, and resources effects % of production...2 Heavy, 2 Armor, 2 Air and 1 Art, with 2 factory movements saved for heavy industry later will balance the Soviets in 42'...Don't move them too early or too late.

In WiR I would factory transfer close to what you suggested but
factory transfer in possumv6 might be a little different. Im not sure if its worth transfering another HI to Sibera or not. That will make a total of 5 Factory transfers needed for HI.
