DVD Cover for the DD release

Post by Franky513 »

Hi,

Well, it's difficult to explain it in English, but I'll try:

As you know, I just downloaded the game GCWAW via digital download, since there is no way to get this game in Germany in the next few month.

But I would like to make the DD version look like a retail version. In order to do so, I'll take an empty DVD case and fit it with the image of the cover of the retail version:

Thus, could someone please scan his dvd cover of the game. If this game has no DVD case, please scan the front and back of the manual in one picture and offer it for download. Thus, I can print this image and use it as a cover.

Thanks a lot! [:)]

I agree!

This can't be hard for the developers to do. They must have a digital picture of the DVD cover. It would be a very nice gesture of them. I asked the same about Battles in Normandy but Matrix, or anyone else, have not supplied me with it. A shame since it must very easy to do.

DVD cover, were are you!

The retail version comes in a box, not a DVD case. I doubt Matrix is going to pony up the artwork to fit a DVD case because (and I am NOT accusing either of you) it would make it that much easier to "sell" as if it were an authentic copy. The box artwork would also be under a copyright.

Create your own cover. Messing with graphics is fun. :)

Yes, but someone could at least scan the entire cover of the manual (front and back). Thus, I could use some paint shop pro and create my own cover. [:)]

Please, I want to put this game in my shelves. [;)]

We really do not do this because they found there way onto fake copies of the game being sold on EBay and other such sites. Sorry.

Guess that is a valid point. Thanks for answering David.

If anyone comes up with a DVD cover then PM me please. I will not distrubute it further to any pirates.

This sounds good. Please mail me this, too. I'll of course only use it for my personal pleasure. I'm a german senior revenue officer, thus I'm trained to be correct.
