Manual Error?

Post by Rik81 »

I wouldn't call this a "bug" (unless the manual is what actually happens in game). I believe the last numbr on page 86 is supposed to be a 7 and not a 13.[:-]

You caught us. Yes, it should be a 7.

I think there was an error in the in game tutorial also for production. I think it was one number off during the description of the production summary screen.

Yes, I noticed this as well - quoted 18 and should have been 19 or vice versa - no big deal though, it was fairly obvious, but could do with patching if this great game is being aimed at a wide audience

USER ERROR?

Another tutorial thing that caught me was on the movement tutorial you have to combine your heavy bomber and your paratrooper unit and it says something like:

left click on the heavy bomber (the white box indicates it is highlighted) then right click on the airborne unit.

Now this may be just me but as a complete newbie and idiot I could not for the life of me understand where to right click I was like :

"what airborne unit" does it mean the bomber? the plane on the map on Western Germany, then I sort of forgot what I was doing and thought maybe I was intercepting enemy aircraft so I was clicking all over Britain and everywhere.

It was quite amusing and because you can't go back and read the last message i was pretty confused.
In the end I managed to click the right thing and the relief was immense.

Making that click and letting the tutorial move on was probably the most satisfying thing so far.
