Old Tutorial #9 - Cave Busting?

Post by RayM »

All,

I've recently introduced a co-worker (West Point grad, CAV & MI) to SPWaW and hopefully, we'll play a few more games. In getting him set up, I seem to remember that there was a Tutorial #9 - Cave Busting in earlier versions of the game. I also recall that the file had been offered up by someone, either by file or by pointer. I've searched the forums without success but would not be surprised if it is hidden in here somewhere. Can someone help? I guess it would need to be re-slotted somewhere else rather than its old location. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ray:

Yes, I remember that too but could not find it. All I can remember from scen was to NEVER attack a cave head-on as the entrance was very deadly. Come around them and hit them from the rear with engineers. A flame tank is a good cave buster.

They struggled with a ferocity that was to be expected of brave men fighting with forlorn hope against an enemy who had the advantage of position......knowing that courage was the one thing that would save them.

Thanks. File downloaded and re-inserted into slot 009. I had to renumber the current 009 scenario to 348. And it still works!
