question about Pearl Harbor in Patch,

Do you feel you are not giving the Japanbese enough credit when you are only giving them 1 round for pearl harbor??? Shouldn't it be the whole battle? Sounds like you are giving the USA too much of a margin for a good chance at a win. If you wanted only 1 round of suprise you should make it Midway, although technically, we suprised them.

I have only played three games so far, but out of those the Japanese have only managed to damage one US heavy fleet once. I would like to see the surprise attack have more of an impact. Is there a combat mod for ships in port?

This is a known bug with surprise attacks. It will be ( and already is ) fixed in the first patch.
