mid to late war scenario 15 save needed

Post by bstarr »

Y’all,
I’m trying to run a game of late-alpha CHM well into the war so Don, Ron, and Company will have at least one source for how the mod develops in the later turns. The problem is, I’ve never played PBEM, only solo head-to-head. As a result, the only reference I have is my own experience with myself as an opponent. I need someone to send me a mid-war save so I can make sure my disposition of forces is relatively similar to those of other players. Note to paranoid PBEMers - I promise* not to sell your secrets to your opponents.

If someone has a save, please PM me. Standard Scenario 15 will be fine; I have WITP installed twice on my computer, one for CHM one for the old version. A '43 would be nice, but a summer or fall 42 save will suffice. Btw, I’m particularly interested in the development of Jap defenses. ie, what bases get how many Base Forces, how much do players disperse their defense and how much do they group everything together.

Another option would be for someone to allow me to email them my save and they could tell me how my setup matches those they’ve seen. I’d prefer the former, but the later will do if no one is trusting enough to share their secrets.

Small print:
* promise does not include offers of four figures. Should an offer of four figures present itself, I will beg and plead for forgiveness. Offers of three figures will also be considered, but, should they be accepted, will require even more groveling and begging for forgiveness. Promise also does not include computer theft or a commando raid into my household.

Nah, not offering. Quite the opposite, in fact.
