How Many troops do C47 hold ?

When transferring troops to other bases How many infantry or support troops will fit on one C47. Also does the plane carry cargo and troops at the same time or is that the supply function. Ok next question how much cargo will a C47 hold ??

5 support or 5 supply each ... smaller units will be more.

I believe you divide the bombload by 2000 for supplies. I tested this a month or two back and was getting 12 C-47's dropping 60 pts total per day on empty bases. I tested it with b-17's as well and got similar results.

I think dividing the load by 100 is used for transporting units and equipment.

Hmmm... Must be uber C47s from some alternate universe.

Capacity in WitP = payload pounds.

Most sites will indicate that the payload of the C-47 had a carrying capacity of 6000 - 7000 pounds (altho sometimes more, I'd expect that would be at expense of range).

However, in game, they're rated for 10,000 pounds.

I agree with you. I think the payload is overstated.
