V1.02 Sliding Movement

Matrix Games and Simulations Canada combine and completely remake two classic NATO vs. Warsaw Pact wargames into a new classic. Based on the original wargames “Main Battle Tank: North Germany” and “Main Battle Tank: Central Germany”, Flashpoint Germany is a new grand tactical wargame of modern combat. Every aspect of modern grand tactical warfare is included, from advanced armor, air and helicopters to chemical and tactical nuclear weapons. Step into the most dangerous war.. . that never was.

V1.02 Sliding Movement

Post by Adam Parker »

Kudos on adding the soft slide animation to unit movement. This makes watching turns unfold a lot more intuitive imo.

The alternative silhouettes option is a nice inclusion too. I think if able maybe soften their white halos a little - or look to anti-aliase these a little more.

Things are going in the right direction. Looking forward to patch 3.

Thanks,
Adam.

Adam,

With version 1.0.2 you can edit/make your own vehicle sil's. When I first started I had a more gray field but it did not look so good or as clear as the white.

Yes, very nice. It's quite commendable when a game producer listens to the players (sliding counters were suggested by yours truly and possibly someone else).
