-1 research points bug??

So I am playing a game and on the first turn I decide that as germany I do not like like where the research is. I click the subtract button and I get the amount of research points to -1 and now nothing I do can change that. they research is forever stuck at -1.

I have tried adding points to it but it will not let me.

Anyone know how I can get rid of the -1?

Can you be more specific about what exactly you clicked on? Can you duplicate this by starting a new game and doing it again. Where exactly is the -1 showing up on the screen?

I got this once in my first game playing as China. Since China had no production points in the first turn, I got a "-1" and could not get it back to 0 in my whole game[:D]

I have a saved game with this BTW but it is too large by 22k

as the germans
under the research screen in the research increase fighter air attack column I have 6(-1/7) I can no longer research this at all since I cannot get rid of the -1


I have tried to recreate this again after I patched. I have yet to be abel to do it. Although I still have the saved game with it in it

Joel I sent you the save game in a PM.

You can get it to happen in that saved game.

Load it go to the research screen by pressing f6

you will notice I am -15 in factory production.

Go to fighter line and click on the increase fighter speed 6 (1/7)

I will show I have spent 2 this turn on research on it.

click the minus 2 times.

the increase figter speed column will now read 6(-1/7)

you will not ever be able to change that -1 to ANYTHING even after you get into the positive production.
