CD ROM version and Patch question

Post by timberwolf15_matrix »

Ok I bought mine at CompUSA a CD ROM came with it ... in other words it is not a Digital Download. Info relating to the patch 1016 seemed to indicate it only works with the Digital Download version..

In other words do I use the patch with the CD ROM version I bought or what .. Thanks

Yes, first you install the game using the CD. At this point it is for sure going to be the 1.005 version (the original version that was released to the public). Since the patch 1.016 is a later version, you should then download the patch, and then run the patch file. It will replace the appropriate file(s) that need to be updated.
All understanding comes after the fact.
