Videos won't play

Post by Dragol »

The videos for WaW will not play on my machine, the game just skips them all. I am running Windows 2000. I have the latest versions of DirectX and NVIDIA drivers for my GForce 4.

I am running the latest version of media player. The videos play fine when I open them manually but the game will not play them. I also have the latest game patch.

This is a known issue on Win2k and is being investigated.

Just for info it behaves the same on Win98 (with WMP 9 as 10 is not available for W98). I know W98 isn't supported by WaW, but yet I can open/play the files on WMP, play the game (without ANY crash lol), why shouldn't I *also* have the videos play in-game ? [:'(]
