Bugs to address before starting a PBEM

Post by Freedom205 »

Hi all, I am preparing to start a new PBEM WIR game with a very trustworthy opponent, and wonder which bugs we should address before the game starts, and what are the most realistic and fair ways to work around them? Example, what is the "Correct" way to work around the blizzard bug, ect. I have played this person many times on other games, and feel we can easily work through the bugs if we know what they all are.

Thanks

Mike,

Try the following, but I think there are more things to do that others will bring up. Do NOT save during the turn and restart from the save. For blizzards, the Axis should avoid special supply unless a unit is very low readiness. As Svar says elsewhere, avoid driving readiness above 50% or so, in 1941 blizzards. Same for the Soviets - avoid high readiness early in the game. I always try to get an agreement to not use a tank/panzer unit with no tank or panzer divisions in it, due to the 5 plots allowed. That is it for me. If you know your opponent (or even if you don't as I don't use it at all), just play a regular game without PBEM, as it only adds security to prevent your opponent from seeing your forces.
