End Date and Auto Victory

Post by Basilhare »

Can you set the game where it will not end, and continue playing past 1946?

I started a game as Germany and have reached Spring 1946...I may have started the game as "Auto Victory" checked, but I would like to fight on...I have checked and unchecked the no end and no auto victory boxes in all differnt combinations but it always ends in Spring 1946. I would love to continue the game, any suggestions?

Thanks,
Basilhare

IF you check teh 'no auto victory" and "no end date' then the game should go until the Axis is conquered, or the Allies have no areas left...

It has worked well past 46 for me and others.

Hmm...I have tried every combination of checking and unchecking those boxes in the saved game that I have and it ends after the Japanese Turn each time, in Spring of 46.

Perhaps the problem is that I started the game with No Auto Victory Checked and the End date unchecked and now am trying to change the game parameters after the game has already started?

I will keep trying but I do not think it will go past 46 no matter what I do at this point.

Thanks,

In a game against the Ai you should be able to change them on teh fly - if you can send me a save that "doesn't keep going" I'll take a look.

My bad. I tried checking them again, and it worked this time. Probably my ineptness...sorry!
