Supply problems

Post by randell765 »

when I make moves, it eats up supply, thats understood, but sometimes when I move units back, it wont give the supply points back. I thought if you move the unit back to the original location,it was the same as taking your turn back?

Example. I move a ship 2 spaces, it takes 2 supply, I decide I don't like the move and move back 2 spaces. It doesn't give the supply back. It acts as if I moved 2 more spaces instead of moving back to the original location. What am I doing wrong?

I think that once you hit 'extended supply' for units, you dont get the supplies back if you cancel the move. I haven't 100% deduced the exact triggers for not being able to completely cancel the action and return to the starting numbers, though.

Which supply rules are you using? If advanced and auto supply are you sure it is not drawing, and thus returning the supply to a remote location?

Paul,

Quite sure. I'm watching the stockpile number in the upper right corner. Additionally, there are times when the 'supply barrels' icon does not disappear on units that have canceled a move. They still stay 'in supply' even though the move as canceled.

This is using Advanced, Auto, Area.
