2nd Poll on Merchant vessels

Post by Tankerace »

Like In WitP, I have left all marchant ships armed. However, I am seriously mulling over disarming them for the first six months. This means that for the first six months, merchants will be unable to defend themselves. Would you like this feature, or keep them armed.

The reason I am asking all these questions is either way fits my "vision" of War Plan Orange, but I am the kind of person who likes to tailor software to the community, if possible. So Vote!

I am closing this poll. I have decided based on the small number of replies that 1) People don't really care about merchantmen, and 2) the few who do want them disarmed. Here is how it will work:

Start of the campaigns, they are disarmed. Then, around 3 months later they are fitted with a few light guns, and then 3-4 months after that they are fitted with medium armament. New ships arriving on map will be unarmed, and will need to be repaired (armed) before going on duty. I could just give them to you a few days later, but this way if you REALLY need some APs, you will have some.

That'll teach me not to check in. I missed a poll on merchant ships. I love merchant ships.

I would have voted "yes" anyhow.
