World aty War Update

I purchased World at War and have the CD. I downloaded the update and it asks for my serial number. Since I have the CD, I did not keep the CD package. How can I install the update?

I'd guess you can't.
Of course the same thing would happen if you downloaded GGWAW off the net, then tried to put the patch on it...

search the registry for entries from "matrix games" and then pin it down till you find the serial ;)
