Can't supply Japan

Post by jakflash »

I have been playing WaW and love it. I can't figure out how to get Japan more resources even though I have captured countries. Also how do you save the german sub in Atlantic at startup?

Are you repairing the resource centers? They are damaged when captured.

Also how do you save the german sub in Atlantic at startup?

When you capture France, use that sub to attack a nearby transport, then after the combat is resolved move that sub to Western France. As a matter of fact, move all your subs there the first chance you get. Until you build up your sub evasion, sortie out, kill a transport, then move back to port.

Oh and Joel, if you read this, the German AI does nothing with the sub in NA2 sea zone on the first turn, leaving it there to die vs the inevitable WA ASW effort. Also, the other 2 German subs are deployed to the Norwegian Sea and the North Sea and left there at the end of the turn, again to suffer the same fate as the aforementioned NA2 sub. I'm not seeing the benefit of their placement vs the cost, since unimproved German subs are very vulnerable.

I *believe* the intention is the 'screen' the invasion force for Norway, but I'm not sure its worth the cost of two subs to do so.

Similarly, the 2 subs moved out of Italy into the Western Med seem to be sacrifice throwaways to make the Allies have to reduce them before proceeding into the Med to attack the Italian fleet in the Central Med. Again, I dont think the cost is justified, but at least there does seem to be a reason to the madness. ;)

The German subs will act very differently in the next patch.

Will they address the research in the next patch? These super tanks and planes are just too much!!!!
