The Old Double Shot Designs Forum

The Seven Years’ War was fought across the globe and called by some the first “World War” as virtually every major power participated. In the center of events was Prussia, almost constantly at war and lead by the now legendary Frederick the Great.

Relive the exciting and trying days of Frederick the Great in Horse and Musket: Volume I, the improved and expanded combination of the previous Prussian War Machine and Prussia’s Glory titles. Horse and Musket: Volume I is a reboot of the successful Horse and Musket series, including not only two solid historical titles in one package, but also many new game features, a powerful new editor, and a complete graphics overhaul to an already acclaimed gaming system.

The Old Double Shot Designs Forum

Post by IAN 1963 »

Quite understand your decision to merge the two forums. However, there was a lot of useful information on the old Double Shot Designs Forum which it would be a pity to lose. Can we therefore please have the posts there made available for viewing on the Matrix site?.

Also, given that this game promises to be so modable. Could you please post a text or Word document on the Double Shot Designs site listing just exactly which units the 3000 portraits which will ship with the game equate to so we can start working on orders of battle & extra artwork to fill in the gaps. It would also be helpful if once the counter art for the game has been sorted the individual files containing it could be made available for downloading so that we can start working on mods for specific units.

Looking forward to the game very much

I'll get the link to the old forum back up tonight on my web site. It will be locked but you can read through the posts.

Graphics- I will post them right before release...I don't want to have something change at the last minute and make things obsolete.

Unit Pix- I get new images every week so nothing to post yet. The artist has covered 1805-1812 so far. Many are unique to each regiment (facing colors).
