Well, I'm so busy right now that it might even take a half a year before we restart, but we will continue this for sure.

I think germany will not be destroyed as it's forces are intact and deadly. I will try hard to cause some damage but it is so difficult against kingtiger. If I can deal one deceisive blow to the germans with big panzer losses, then they will not be able to recover. But so far I did nothing even remotely close to what I would consider "real damage":)

The german summer offense campaign in 43 would make me happy:) Much more targets, and the red air force can be sacraficed in a meaningfull way.

From august to now I was attacking with my tank armies full of kv's. They gain exp nicely, and the losses are nicely even. I do strictly attrition attacks, no deep encirclements. I advance only one hex at one time. I respect the Luftwaffe and the german panzers too much.

Where we stand is irrelevant because the werhmacht has full force, so to beat germany until 43 august is impossible.

Now I have a good picture of how things have panned out.

Ok it won't be August '43, rather September '43 [:'(]
I didn't know it then, but looking back, in hindsight, I realize that when I was younger I could see into the future. Now I'm getting all my premonitions as flashbacks!

:) You trust in me will be disappointed. There is more chance for kingtiger's evil panzers to be in Moscow then my nice tankers in Berlin come 43 september. I have to tell you a secret: my main surprise attack (my only chance at victory) is more then a year away. Or am I bluffing and lying again? I just dont know myself:)

The German defence lines are very strong and in depth. In some places they are 3 hexes deep. I have korps in my rear in important hexes and have a 4th line behind all this. There is no chance of any deep encirclements.

I had/have 2 surprises for tom1939 and great effort has gone into concealing this from him. If things go very well for him in his winter battles Im sure this will bring him to a screaming halt, or will his surprise out do mine? Or are we both bluffing?

Hmmmmm double bluffing ...... more twists and turns than a slippery snake going down a Helter Skelter.

I can assure you that 1 surprise is ready and waiting but is being held back. My 2nd surprise has been delayed due to the great playing abality of tom1939. Delayed is the key word here. The speed that it I will resumes my 2nd surprise all depends on how well tom1939's winter attacks go.

The sad thing is that my surprises have hurt me, than given me an edge in battle. I played a risky tactic and have to live with it.

The air battles around Kharkov are killing the carefully rebuilded soviet fighter force. But Stalin's order is feared, and no german bomb will fall on Kharkov until our last plane is shot down. Goering must be having a good laugh as his fw's massacre the helpless soviet fighters:(

Air battles over Kharkov again this week but we have failed to bomb the city. Losses are high but our kill ratio is just below 2-1. Our current strat camp against the Soviets is failing to meet its objectives in destroying the VVS.

We still got a few planes left, so Kharkov will be defended.

P.s: please kingtiger post losses, I'm too lazy to count it from total losses:)
Oh by the way, what do you think about the uneven air losses? It is quite funny that the first air divisions (a,b,c) in a hq gets mauled down to 100 planes while the last ones are untouched. It must be the same for you so there is no advantage in it, but it just bothers me...

Like the battle of Britain, the German airforce has failed to meet its objective and has been withdrawn from the battle of Kharkov.

I am attacking you at max range so out of 1500 fighters in my HQ, Im lucky if 300 show up for the 1st fight. Numbers only fall after each attack . My losses are fairly well spread out.

Luckily the germans quit before my yak-7b's ad lagg-3's fighters collapsed. I nearly had to use my first line of fighters (yak-9m's) to stop the deep attacks:) And those beauties are needed for more important things. The german first line still hold's against my tank armies:(

The red air force joined the fighting in the central area (just to flee beaten up next week). As result a few panzer korpses retreated (they were attacked continously in the last 3-4 weeks), but nothing fancy. We met some panthers, and we did not like them. When the red tanks are in overmight they get destroyed nicely, but at one place they stopped us with 4:1 tank losses in their favor. It's gonna be fun to be technologicaly inferior in both tanks and planes:(
