"Chain of command"

Post by Chairman »

How do you leave the life of recruit and move up in the ranks of Matrix Forum?
A great man ones said "Veni Vidi Vici" and "Alea iacta est"
But a lot other said this "Ave Caesar, morituri te salutant"

This is a hard way up. One must prove his loyality and serve with a full force. Once I was green recruit... oh, those hard times... Now I am veteran and life has become slightly better because I have some recruits under my command and they do all dirty work for me. This leaves some free time for playing games after work. I dream about the times when I will be Matrix Administrator.. or may be THE LEADER OF THE MATRIX!!

Well all are very nice dreams from Mist and Josan.
But all you got to do chairman is to keep posting.
That is the only way to loss the recruit status.

Thanks for all your answers, but I would have bet something on that some of the veterans are taking something to get a better daydream.

Another good way to get them posts up is to post on threads like this.

......I kill me!
Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away;
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air.
You better watch out,
There may be dogs about
I've looked over Iraq, and i have seen
Things are not what they seem.

It used to be 35 when I was an innoncent recruit, I believe (or maybe that is one of those war stories you hear where the veteran says what he wants to scare the new recruits). Maybe it is 50 now. Maybe Matrix thought there are too many veterans and wants to keep a good supply of recruits to keep us grognards happy? Either way, it didn't arouse me too much when I got promoted, not like the really excited ones anyway.

We need more ranks!
"Wenn sie jetzt ganz unverhohlen
wieder Nazilieder johlen
über Juden Witze machen
über Menschenrechte lachen
wenn sie dann in lauten Tönen
saufend ihrer Dummheit frönen
denn am Deutschen hinterm Tresen
muss nun mal die Welt genesen
dann steh auf u

50 changes you to a veteran. perhaps we could have a higher rank for 100 or more posts

And we definately need to ban muzrub from any future postings, he is out of control

No surprise here, he get's promoted to Hitler's right hand henchman and he lets the power go to his head. Another tragic example of human weakness vis-a-vis absolute power.
