Airfield bombing/strafing

Are fighters included in the airfield attack??
Sins you can put them on airfield attack they should do something but it´s only the bombers that attack the target or??

Fighters don't do what bombers do, even though most fighters have a small bomb load capacity. They'll go if a bomber goes, but they won't go by themselves. If they go with a bomber, their tiny bomb load capacity *is* counted, even if they are involved in air combat over the target.
