Is it possible to capture Truk?

And therefore will the game automatically? (assuming IJN has no other bases left)

Maybe against the AI and at 200% for the allies. Don't see it happening in a pbem. Even against the AI, it would be pretty hard. Combination of mines, cd and approx 150-200k worth of troops would be tough. If the AI hasn't lost any cd units there's probably going to be about 5 minutes worth of "coastal batteries fire at _______" messages. You'd have to land 50-60k worth of troops by the end of day 2 to keep from being pushed back into the ocean.

I don't Know if the game will auto end If you take Truk and the Japanese have no other bases. I suspect that you can only take Truk in a game against the AI though.
