I recall David Heath saying he did have the source code for Western Front, but nothing about releasing an updated version. Someone from Matrix should correct me if I am wrong. <img src="cool.gif" border="0">

I would like to get this proposed new wersion of western front. I started my wargaming on computers with this and have played it countless times. I also like it more than WIR. Brings back the memory of good old days. I still have it, allthough I could not make the original work on Windows NT, it did not give all the options in the game. But it works with Windows 98.

Since no one else responded, I'm very sure Matrix doesn't have Western Front, if they did we'd know about it. They never hid the fact they had WiR before the first new version of it. I'm not a Matrix employee though.
