How are grenades handled?

Post by Fred98 »

Hexes are 50 meters.

In a typical combat a man might throw a grenade 10 or 20 meters and probably has a max range of 40 meters.

How are grenades handled in the game?

+2 is added to firepower when firing on adjacent unit. Joe, you do understand the scale, right?

I saw in the Vietnam art that claymores are on the map. Wouldn't a mine be hidden until it goes off? How is that handled?

VC/NVA... heck anyone... assumes that any defended position has a good chance of having claymores rigged. The random nature of the CRT takes into account that the bad guys may or may not have seen the claymore before it detonates.
