Withdraw airgroup question.

Post by ltfightr »

I am at work so no manual but was thinking when you withdraw a group of aircraft. I seem to remember that the planes are "given" to the group indicated. But the pilots are returned to the pool. Are they put in the pool imediatly or only at 90 days? Are they in the pool at the exp leval they achived or do they come back in 90 days at the national pool pilot level?
Do they only come back with the group they were assigned to in the first place.

Don't confuse withdraw with disband.

One keeps the pilots, the other dumps the pilots into the unit you are disbanding into.

Neither puts pilots into the pool

Disband puts all the pilots planes ect in the group you select. But does not withdraw remove the pilots with the unit. What happens to those pilots?

Yeah .. I wonder : why isn't it possible to put the pilots of some Rufe, pete, Alf squadrons back to the pool and use them into a Zero squadron ? Could be nice

In one of the forerunner games to WITP, you could, but they took a 15 pt. experience hit (iirc).
