too stupid to invade properbly!

Post by Cunki »

I am too stupid to understand the amphibic invasion process.
My transports are loaded with troops in adjacent seazones, but i am
unable to invade. By the way, it´s not a winter turn!
Can somebody help me???
Thank you!

Best regards

I think you have to provide a little more detail. Can you post a screenshot and explain what you moved where?

Transports have a number on the map something like 30/3.
The 30 indicates transport capacity 10per armor, 5per other units
The 3 indicates its amphibious landing capacity.

No unit can invade amphibiously with 3pts. Even militia require 5.
So you will need at leat 2 trannys (60/6) in the zone you want to do your landing and you will need a string of single trannys to the point your army is assembled.

If you are playing Japan you will notice there trannys are 30/5 meaning they only need one tranny per unit to invade.

Hope that helps. And make sure you knock out any artillary/air in the desired landing area, or you will suffer serious opfire on your amphibious forces.

Hope that helps

Am attempting something close to what Cunki is doing but am trying to invade from england to paris I have something like 10 transports in the region but it won't let my troops or tanks go on shore what is going wrong? I can take the screen shot i suppose to help out. But so far I've been unable to invade anywhere due to the rules of the transports. It's making the game both frustrating and disappointing at the same time any ideas??

Is it winter? No amphibious landings in winter in the cold regions (indicated by a white shade over teritory)

Also units consume supply to do a landing, do you have the supplies in there original zone, or one adjacent to it?
