Or he might have played the Watchtower megacampaign in SPW@W. There is a scenario about those two islands there and you can't mistake them for anything else really.

I recognised it from a mini ASL campaign included in one of their Annuals - trouble was one slip of a dice or finger and counters went everywhere[:@]

Funny, the picture doesn't seem familiar; I must've seen a map of the place. Wasn't a wargame though. My problem is I can't remember what I remember any more. Half the stuff I think I remember, I made up. [;)]
