Magical Convoy Movement

I am playing version 1.5, it is Feb. 3, 1942. A transport convoy which just arrived in Pearl Harbor has magically moved itself several thousand miles to a postion off of Bativia where hundreds of carrier based japanese planes, and land based aircraft pulverize it to pieces. I had saved the turn before, and no matter what I do the ships will sometimes be transported a few squares in a different direction, and then appear and be blown to bits. This has game has been a waste of many hours.
