For all military history fans

Guys,
yestarday I had the pleasure to be at very special event for anybody who loves military history. It is called The day of 15 Pulk Ulanow Poznanskich (15th Poznan Cavalry Regiment), it is yearly event (this year 20th) in a name of polish soldiers from september campaign, escpacially cavalry. It takes place at Poznan Zitadel (btw there is one scenario in SPWW2 about germans defending it in 45'). Very popular event among citizens from my city, very rare occasion to see cavalry charge live!. There were two small skirmishers reconstructed - cavalry charge from 39' and additionally Sosabowski parachooters backed by polish commandos in 1944 (yeah, we all know here that they couldnt meet in real war coz our commando's saw action in Italy, not in France & Netherlands, like Sosabowski's boys).

Interesting info : there is still a proffessional cavalry subunit in polish army, directly under main HQ. Plus, obviously quite a few amateur groups, including wehrmacht unit.
