Ah, ok, so this is just about "regular" capture of ressources, good, no problem with that ;)

I have recently purchased Flash Point Germany and have been very disapointed with obscure and unrealistic victory conditions that end the game with a defeat. From what I have read, and no I have not played World at War, are there elements that bring a victory to a side that would defy logic? Obscure point systems and such. Is this World at War?

I was going to buy a few of Matrix games but after FPG and reading the boards there seems to be a LOT of obscure victory conditions that piss people off.

As a rule, no. The problem you have with the "sudden death" victory at 20% in FPG is not one that I've seen reported with any of our other games.

In WaW, there are no obscure victory conditions. However, there is an auto victory condition that is very important to know (and is clearly called out in the rules), but even that and the end dates can be turned off in the game options for a clean fight to the death if that's what you want.
