Page Not Found

I had no trouble downloading the first 1.40patch for my old RFTS retail edition. However, I have been unable to download the subsequent versions because every time I click the link on the patch download page for the retail edition I get a "Page Not Found" error. I have tried this on two separate PCs with and without a firewall activated with the same results.

I since have had no trouble downloading other patches for other games from Matrix, just RFTS.

Any idea what is up?

Just tested again and it downloads fine here. Where exactly are you seeing the page not found? Can you post a screenshot?

If you have an ftp client, go to ftp.matrixgames.com and grab it there without going through your browser.

you get this error if you try to follow the link by clicking on the ZIP file from the Member's area as shown below.

Using the path from Games/RFTS/Download does take you to 1.40c.

1. click on GAMES on top line of Matrix home page
2. select RFTS in game list and click on box next to it.
3. click on Downloads on left hand side

This will take you to the correct 1.40cpatch file.

The FTP download worked fine. And the picture above is where I would get the Page not found error after clicking the zip download link.
