Nothing new really, german panzers are resting or beeing unable to break down the russian defence. Now all german infantry has moved up in position so a big attack may be unfolding. Last turn german Afrika korps surrendered and that may cause a break on the wehrmachts war effort. The red army holds a solid line stretching from Leningrad-Novgorod-Demyansk-Rhzev-Vitebsk-Smolensk-Mogilev-Gomel-Kiev-Dnepropetrovsk.

For a month the eastern front have turned to a trench war. The german advance was haltered along the dniepr and despite a few breaktroughs the front remained static. But the growing strength of the wehrmacht pays off as gaps are beeing tored in russian lines. The russian frontline is like a dam, solid but to many small gaps may cause it to break. That´s what is happening now in the center.

NORTH;
All quiet in the northern trenches. No german advances for a long time now.

CENTER;
The russian line between Smolensk-Gomel totter and then starts retreating before the panzer onslaught. A lot of russian armies surrounded as a result, attempts are beeing made to cut off the german pincers. The whole sector is now in jeopardy.

SOUTH;
Dniepr-line holds but Dnepropetrovsk and Zaphoroche have fallen. German troops crosses the Kerch-strait in to the caucasus. Some german frontline units cut off and attacked.
