digital download

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

If you get a digital download version, what happens to people whose system crashes where they have to re-install their OS? How do they re-install CoG?

I burned all my digital downloads with a text document with the serial numbers onto CDs for backups. It is a practice that is recommended by Matrix. If you got the bandwidth, digital download is the way to go.

I have used it for Tin:AL, Tin:JC, Pacific War, World at War without any problems.

Normally as long as you still have the order number and the serial number you should be able to re-download it. I think there is a posting about somewhere in the Store FAQ's
Soldiers generally win battles; generals get credit for them.

You get just over 30 days to download it as much as possible. After that I think it is a bit of a hassle to get the download.

Woe be to those who have to re-install Windows (for whatever reason) 31 days after you digitally download it? I'll stick with getting a CD. I know it isn't instantaneous, but I'll always have it.

Thanks. [:)]
