Ministry of Propaganda, Moscow
First week of august 1941

We are glad to inform that Nazis started to loose their pace with their supply droping dramaticaly.
For those who doubt in our power we confirm big succes in repulsing Finns in the far north.
Our defense line is quite stable with new units arriving every week. German losses are increasing, especially in tanks and we used only old tanks so far, with over 700 brand new T-34 still training in far east.
German losses so far :
2918 / 1106 / 501 / 464
Soviet losses are not worth mentioning.

Herr Hetzer being a kind and compassionate man and understanding how Mr Beria might not wish to mention Soviet losses in Mr Czerkastalin's hearing has graciously decided to save Mr Beria the embarassment and has offered the following figures to the Londinium Tymes:
3761
1608
0571
0534

21897
07921
10473
06001

Since Mr. Czerkastalin has decided to defend so tenaciously in the south, south central and north a small probe of 3 Pz Corps was made in the north center of Russia. Just a exploratory probe and Mr. Czerkastalin is advised that that these Pz Corps are merely looking for good picnic grounds as the summer weather is so beautiful. Mr. Hetz(ler) reports himself to be overwhelmed by the ledgendary Russian hospitality and is looking forward to thanking Mr. Czerkastalin personally......in Moscow <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Herr Hetz(ler) was again overheard complaining bitterly about how unfair it is of Comrade Czerkastalin to keep defending himself. One comment seemed particularly telling in which Herr Hetz(ler) was said to be complaining to all and sundry that it should not take 3 German Corps to dislodge a single Soviet Corps (and that only with judicious use of interdiction). This correspondent expects reports of vacancies in the Facist General Staff to appear momentarily.
