Dumb question of the day

Post by stretch »

How do I get a land unit that unloads to attack in the same turn? I can't set any offensive orders while the unit is aboard ship, and I know the AI unloads and attacks me in the same turn resolution.

You can't. If you invade an atoll you'll automatically shock attack the turn you invade.

You won't need to set the atoll attack. It is automatic.
Every turn you unload troops it will initiate a shock attack.[;)]

Key point for new players! If you do NOT want a shock attack repeatedly at an atoll, ensure your transports will unload all troops the first day....

Key tactic here:

Make sure they arrive at night so you get 2 unloading phases before the ground combat takes place!
