Old Question

Post by pompack »

per page 182 of the manual

"If these requirements are satisfied, than each heavy industry point
produces a supply point and 1.33 fuel points that are added to the base, at the cost of 1 resource
and 1 oil point."

As I recall, there were several threads stating that this is wrong. Unfortunately I can't find the relevant thread anymore.

So my question:

How much supply and fuel is produced by each Heavy Industry Center point?

1 S + 1 F produced,
1 R + 1 O consumed,
1 R + 2 O required for factory to work.
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage.

Not quite. The manual is wrong, as was pointed out by Mr. Frag some time ago:

Note 791405, TWR, Taking Singapore, 2/2/05): 1x Oil required now for HI!

Regarding pompack's original question, you are right for port bases, produces 1 supply, 1.33 fuel and 1 HI point. Of course, no fuel is produced at inland bases.
