Patch 2.41: Disappearing C-47's

Scn.7: After the first turn, most of my SWPAC C-47's disappear. I've run multiple tests, and the problem keeps reoccuring. Reinstalled patch 2.30 and everything is fine. Also tried running scn.14, which has an identical setup to scn.7. The bug did not reproduce.

I've sent a savegame to U2.

AS you know, I´m also playing scen 7 as allies and nothing happened to me. BUT when air lifting a paratroop unit using C-47, the unit disappeared!!

This have caused a major change in my general strategy...[:@][:@]

I´ve also noticed some problems with different combat replays. I´ll try to change the intial setings to try to fix it.

Why don't you go back to 2.30 before you get too far in your new PBEM with toraq?

2.41 gives me hives....

Good question, Chad. My other opponent, Grunt6971, is on 2.41 and prefers it that way, not least, I take it, because he, in turn, has two other opponents also on 2.41. I guess I'm just too lazy to chance the patch version before every game turn.

There are good things about 2.41, I think. Japanese service troops no longer congragate on runways in quite the kind of numbers they used to and wave when my bombers are overhead !

Well I did see an Allied sub hit a mine in 2.41......never seen that before...

I reckon the plane leaking bug isn't as severe in smaller scenarios......but I like to play the monsters...

Wl it's plenty bad in scn.7 & 9 - not crippling, just really annoying, mind.
