LCU disappearing during Air Transport

By now the LCU disappearing during air transport bug should be know and a way to limit its occurrence is also out there.

It had happened in my current game and I kept track of what units disappeared and where. After clearing out the bases I notices some squads, engineers and artillery still listed as being present, even though no other LCU icons were showing as being there. It looks like the disappearing LCU did not slip into the abyss, just its icon. The engineers still build fortifications, port and airfields and the infantry squads still generate an assault value.

Found this while playing scenario 15 as Japanese v AI using a fresh start under 1.5. Playing now in March 42.

I hope this information can help track down this bug. I have a save with named missing units and their location available if needed.
