Revenge of the BB's

Post by freeboy »

As you may, or not, know Zeta 16 while losing many bases in his withdraw across the pacific has inflicted tremendous losses... this new 1.5 game allows me my revenge.. thus the title.

Situation.. My naval forces are whole, it is MAy 1942. I am repossitioning troops and supplies. Japs justtook Gili/Lunga and are advancing in Solomans
no other news.. few air raids and other moves .. comparitivly quite

It is amazingthe differences.. after having played an entire war.. at the begginning of my last game, I never looked at leaders except tfor the big hq;s.. and I really paidso little attention to engeniers untill I learned better.. this is like a completely different game..
it is 05 42 and no losses for either side although I have one criticle sub.. maybe it sunk already

I wonder if Z will go on a huge land grab early now.. Midway?.. it is not his style, but who knows. India is pretty safe as it is so late into the vulnerable time soon many new strong units start appearing, ground and air...

I recieved anouther GREAT [:-]Brit carrier.. maybe I should launch araid??? ok sorry
I actually do like them after mid 43, tough and I stack my best fighters on them for added cap when needed... though in the Indian ocean I can only wonder how they would fair in a real fight !
Nice to see some good divisions comming out of the west coast too..

do you mean it is more exciting with better equipement? I still am flying p39's and b 17[:@] but not for long[:D]

I think theat after Z attacks and I know where his carriers are, or later in the year when sufficeit troops supplies and carriers are mobilzedI will take some key areas.. last game it was "take it all" not sure that was the best choice.. maybe I shouldhave bypassed some like Rabual???
