The Western Allies may be conquered by Germany, or Japan may defeat China. With you at the controls, leading the fates of nations and alliances. Take command in this dynamic turn-based game and test strategies that long-past generals and world leaders could only dream of. Now anything is possible in this new strategic offering from Matrix Games and 2 by 3 Games.

Since the change to the West German fort involved a data file change, I'm guessing that it won't apply in games started before 1.033. I could be wrong though. Remember that not all changes take effect immediately in older games but only show up in games started with the new version.

I don't think our POW camps will hold all of you and they certainly won't be serving wine! :)

looks like the fort still stands and a few other things like world standards. if you guys implemented this on purpose, nice programming!

therefore I can say to anyone worried about their old games currently in progress, go ahead and install it, because it doesn't effect the important things. you'll have to get a completely new game started to have those effects put into place.
